Home!

She's finally home!!! After passing all the test at the hospital of eating consistently and gaining weight, Kendal is dismissed! Mom and dad are so excited and ready to bring her home.

Snug as a little bug in her big girl car seat.

Such a good baby, she slept all the way home from the hospital.

Thankful

Happy Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving we have much to be thankful for:

We are thankful for the blessing of life.  This new life came earlier than we expected but we are thankful for a beautiful baby girl.

Kendal Mae Gibson
Date of Birth: 11/15/12 at 10:11 pm
4 lbs. 11 oz.
16.5 inches
Everything is OK. (She already has the OK sign down!)

She just needs to eat consistently, gain weight and she will get to come home from the hospital.

The new addition to our family.

Deep in conversation with dad. (He says they are talking about politics and economics)

Getting her beauty sleep. (The post-turkey coma!!)

Have a Happy Thanksgiving from the Gibson's!!

The Nursery

The Nursery was completed before the Baby's debut. Hope she likes her room and sleeps all night in it!!!!

Thanks to grandma for all her sewing skills and making the crib sheets, crib skirt, curtains and baby blanket.  Baby Gibson is so loved!
Thanks to everyone for all the gifts, clothes, books and baby supplies. We are going to need and use all of it and we are so blessed to have so many great friends and family in our lives.

Baby Gibson

Now that I have been practicing my blogging skills onto the real reason for the blog.  We are expecting a baby girl!! She is due December 14th. The blog will be devoted to updated pictures of her.  I am hoping it will be the easiest way to keep a digital scrapbook for everyone to see without inundating your email inbox or Facebook activity feed.

The House

So I/we are starting a blog......something new. Kara is starting it but is hoping that Curtis will grow an interest.  But my one question about a blogging is where do you start? We have had so many exciting things happen in the last year and a half that I am going back track just a little to bring everyone up to speed and then continue moving full force ahead.
Here we go!! March 2011, we bought our 1st house. Mr. Wichita Real Estate and Researcher found a great deal (just what we were looking for) and it only have a few rooms with wall paper border but nothing that we couldn't handle. Here's the before and after photos of the projects we have been working on for the past 16 months.
Before the Gibson's....watch out here we come!
